A quality Kolinsky sable brush can last for years with proper care.

• Rinse frequently using cool, clean water.

• Never allow paint to dry in the bristles.

• Avoid getting paint inside the ferrule.

Our Story

Like many hobbyists, my journey began with a box of miniatures as a child. While armies came and went, painting became the part of the hobby that stayed with me.

After years of frustration with inconsistent quality from existing brush brands, I partnered with a Taiwanese family whose workshop has been crafting brushes for over 100 years. Together, after nearly two years of development and multiple rounds of prototypes, we created the Avant Garde Green Series—brushes designed specifically for miniature painters.
